On the workbench

The next project does not have a name yet. Once it does, it will be here and in the log.

Open source

Almost everything on the internet runs on open source: operating systems, web servers, databases, encryption. Every DEV4LIFE app is built on it.

So our developers contribute to open source projects wherever they can. Mostly to tools we use every day: with bug fixes, new features and documentation. And where we cannot fix something ourselves, with precise bug reports and ideas.

About DEV4LIFE

DEV4LIFE builds web apps for everyday life, from the first sketch to running them. After that the work goes on: updates, support, and whatever the people using the apps wish for.

This is Byte. Eight cells long, so exactly one byte. Lives in the game board up top and shows up wherever DEV4LIFE is written.

Byte and the logo
  • No account where possible If you just want to take a look, you should not have to sign up first.
  • Made in Germany Developed and run in Germany, on servers in German data centres.
  • For Uncle Gerd too If someone cannot use it without an explanation, it is not finished yet.
  • Built on open source And where we can, we give something back.
